The “brain” has finally found a “body.” In late 2025, we are seeing the true convergence of Large Language Models and Robotics. A prime example is the recent deployment of the Xiaosuan robotic guide dog in the Shenzhen Metro, which uses real-time semantic processing to navigate complex urban environments based on natural language commands. By utilizing Solid-State LiDAR and Edge Computing, these robots can now “plan and act” in real-time, moving AI from our screens into our physical streets. This marks the beginning of a “human-centered” robotics era where AI complements our physical experiences.
